Flew from Hobart to Sydney yesterday and was met at the airport by David and his wife. David's a wonderful radio guy who I've known for many years. His home and family, including adorable dogs, are lovely and I'm very comfortable here. After I did some voiceover recording at a studio here, we drove around so I could see different neighbhorhoods, styles of architecture, and the famous Sydney skyline from different vantage points.
It was a beautiful sunny day in the low 80s. Perfect weather for sitting outside at a restaurant having lunch, watching the boats come in and out of the harbor, and watching sea planes as well.
Will be getting up close to the opera house on Friday so I'll post pics later in the week.

Beaches... boats... sun... low 80's weather...

Philly (the city I love so dearly) just doesn't seem so fantastic at the moment.
