FYI, the Aussies refer to this place as "Tassie". They like to shorten and abbreviate everything.
So much to write and not enough time and access to internet! Gerald and Cathy are about to pick me up and we're going to drive up to Mount Wellington which a local told is something we "must do" while we're here. Should be a nice view, as the weather is perfect. Hope to post more Monday when back in Sydney.
I am doing really well and loving this vacation, as I knew I would.

ReplyDeleteBe sure to tell Cat Empire I said "Hi!" from Philadelphia. They'll remember me. I was the guy in the small group of a hundred or two people standing in front of the stage when they played the XPoNential Festival. The one who, in the middle of the Car Song, had.... uh... well. Maybe they won't remember me.

Oh, is there something in particular are you gesturing towards? I thought the island was about 150 miles from the continent, so you can't be pointing to that. Or is it just the natural beauty of the shore?
